RETAIL MAIL ORDER

Unless you already have an Account with us, pre-payment is required for ALL orders, either

a) by cheque or postal order made out to Samuel French Ltd

OR

b) by credit/debit card when the number and expiry date of the registered card MUST be quoted.

Please note that as the web site is not secure we do not advise sending credit/debit card details via email.

ACCOUNTS ORDERS

Accounts will be subject to the following terms:

1. An annual expenditure of at least £500

2. 30 days credit from date of invoice

3. Orders under £10 subject to a small order surcharge of £2

4. Overseas mail sent air mail at current rate

5. Goods remain the property of Samuel French Ltd until paid for. Responsibility for the safe-keeping of goods passes to the purchaser once the goods have left Samuel French's premises.

ORDER FORM for account holders only

 

PACKING AND POSTAL CHARGES WITHIN THE UK

First class postage and packing on orders with a total value under £10 will be £1
on orders with a total value between £10 and £75 it will be 15% of that value;
on orders with a total value over £75 it will be 10% of that value.

Second class postage and packing on orders with a total value under £10 will be £1;
on orders with a total value between £10 and £75 it will be 10% of that value;
on orders with a total value over £75 it will be £7.50.

 

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

Overseas orders are sent air mail, which will be charged at the current rate.

Payments from abroad may be made by International Money Order or Giro cheque, or you may credit our Giro account number GB 597 7355.

If payment is made by cheque in a currency other than sterling payable in London, overseas customers should add £7 to cover bank collection charges. We regret we are unable to obtain bank clearance on cheques under £50 sterling unless drawn on a UK bank.

Due to the high value of GBP £, and our bankers' commission, it is not always economical for our overseas customers to make payments in their own currency. We would suggest that payments to us be made via credit card as this obviates the need for our bankers to charge commission on currency conversion.
